On May 5, Saint Mary School will be participating in #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of unity and giving. Why now? Why in the midst of this uncharted territory are we asking for support? Because we know that now, more than ever, our Saint Mary community is in need. While we know there are better days ahead, we know that many of our families need tuition support unexpectedly right now, and many will need it for the upcoming school year. We know that we will not be able to conduct our typical Saint Mary Fund appeal as we have done in years past, and we know we will not be able to have our Golf Outing and dinner fundraiser in June.
But let’s not lose focus on other things we know. We know that our shared support of the mission of SMS brings us closer together, and brings new families into our school. We know that our connection has not been lost during this time of distance learning, in many ways it has brought us closer. We know that every gift to the Saint Mary Fund makes a difference in the lives of our students.
If you are able, please donate to the Saint Mary Fund. No gift is too small. If you are unable, please continue to pray for the Saint Mary School community, and that we may continue to make a difference in the lives of students for generations to come!
