Overview

Saint Mary School offers students in grades 6-8 a rigorous and collaborative academic experience. Academics are held in high esteem, while the whole child remains the focus. Our challenging and dynamic standards-based curriculum encourages student achievement with an emphasis on critical thinking, communication, problem solving and technology. Students graduating from Saint Mary School are equipped with the skills necessary to succeed in high school and beyond.

The curriculum focuses on the core subjects of Religion, English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Religion is taught daily and students have an eighty minute block of time dedicated to English and Language Arts every day as well. All students take a World Language; and Technology, the Fine Arts, Physical and Health Education are integrated across the curriculum. Every middle school student brings an iPad to school, and our use of Google Docs enables students to work cooperatively on projects from their homes.
