Overview

Saint Mary School offers students in grades 6-8 a rigorous and collaborative academic experience. Academics are held in high esteem, while the whole child remains the focus. Our challenging and dynamic standards-based curriculum encourages student achievement with an emphasis on critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving. Students graduating from Saint Mary School are equipped with the skills necessary to succeed in high school and beyond.

The curriculum focuses on the core subjects of Religion, English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Religion is taught daily. Students have double blocks dedicated to English and Language Arts three days a week, and a double block in Math and Social Studies once a week.  Students choose either French or Spanish for their daily World Language class.  "Specials" include Art, Music, Physical and Health Education, and Technology Skills.  Every middle school student brings a Chromebook and our use of Google Docs enables students to work cooperatively on projects from their homes.
