Community Service

By introducing students to the joy of service to others, the concepts of caring, helping, and sharing are extended beyond their classmates, families, and friends. Students realize that there are many people in their community and around the world, including other children, whom they may not know personally but who need their help. Whether they are collecting toothbrushes for Honduras, canned food for our sister parish in Bridgeport, singing Christmas Carols at a local nursing home, decorating lunch bags for Meals on Wheels, or helping sort gifts for the Parish Giving Tree, Saint Mary students embrace their mission of service.
