Diocese of Bridgeport

Saint Mary School is one of the 38 Catholic Schools in Fairfield County, led by Bishop William E. Lori along with a team of highly skilled professionals in the Office for Education, including Dr. Margaret A. Dames, Superintendent of Schools. Together, the Diocese of Bridgeport Office for Education has earned invitations from around the country to share the best practices in curriculum development. Further, Bishop Lori has been invited to the United States Department of Education and the White House Summit on Education to share with others what is happening in our Catholic Schools in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

National Blue Ribbon Award Recipient

On September 9, 2010, Saint Mary School in Ridgefield was honored to be named a 2010 National Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education. This prestigious award places Saint Mary School among the top 50 private elementary, middle and high schools in the United States.
