It is a pleasure to introduce you to Saint Mary School. Our school offers a rich curriculum for pre-school students through the eighth grade. We are accredited by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges.

Saint Mary School is centrally located in the town of Ridgefield, Connecticut. The School is dedicated to meeting the needs of the growing student population in the Diocese of Bridgeport.

Students are welcome from Ridgefield as well as from the surrounding communities. The School currently draws students and families from Ridgefield, Danbury, Redding, Wilton and New York State. Ridgefield students receive free bus service. New York State residents living within 15 miles of the School also receive free service from their school districts.

School Year
Consists of 180 days and follows the Ridgefield Public School calendar with the exception of the observance of holy days.
School Hours:
7:30 a.m. – 2:15 p.m., K–8th Grade. Dismissal at 11:45 am for half days
Testing
Testing follows the program of the Diocese. Iowa Standardized Tests are administered in March for Grades K-8.
Admission Policy
Students are welcome from the regional parishes as well as from surrounding towns. Saint Mary School has an open admissions policy without regard to race, creed or color.
